Busy.

Although I didn't make any official New Years resolutions, I know there are some things that I need to be working on. One of them is to get my things into more stores. Today I made a trip to Burlington to do a few things. The first one was to check out Green Closet which is located in Winooski. The owner looked over my goods and selected 17 pieces to sell. That was a lot of fun and quite exciting! The next stop was Made Boutique to bring Sara a whole new selection of pins, barrettes, and retro food cards. Made has moved to a new location at 22 Church Street above Olympia Sports and will re-open on February 2nd. My Mom also did some work for me today too. She stopped at Knits and Bolts which is located in New Haven on route 7. They will now be selling a few pins as well. I still have a lot more to do and I will be finding ways to keep busy during the next few months.
While in Burlington, I met up with Trish and we had lunch then hit the thrift stores. I ended up getting a whole bunch of awesome things for $5 which included: A huge wood quilting hoop, a metal Barbie lunch box, a metal display stand for my tables, two metal holders for records or papers, an old Dymo label maker, a bag of beer caps, corks, Mardi Gras beads and other miscellaneous things, and 6 vintage cook books. I also picked up about 20 plastic clothes hangers for free. Trish found a very new pair of Pumas for $3. Yay for thrifting!
I stopped at Starbucks for a delicious Caramel Macchiato and headed home. Have an awesome weekend!
